what color light switches go best in a kitchen with cherry wood cabinets? the switch plates and outlet plates?
will be stained cherry wood. would white switches and outlets, black
switches and outlets or brown switches and outlets be best in this
kitchen? (the kitchen has cherry wood cabinets, green granite
countertops and slate tile floors)
Do you have stainless appliances? Because if you do, I would
definitely go with brushed nickel plate covers to tie everything together,
with white switches and outlets beneath. You do have some options as far
as covers go, I really like some of the metallic (copper etc) finishes
available at places like Lowes and Home Depot. But for the switches and
outlets themselves, always go with white. Everything else just looks
dated.
